Our Arabic dailies were the first to offer the world a perspective rooted in and informed by our region. We launched Saudi Arabia’s first ever English newspaper, we were the first to launch a pan-Arab women’s weekly, and the first in the region to print newspapers in colour.
With many other firsts along our journey, we now aim to be at the forefront of a new media landscape. Launch of Arab News, Saudi Arabia's first English-language newspaper, with the first issue published on 20 April 1975

Alsharq al Awsat, an Arabic international newspaper launched in London on 4 July 1978
